Member Information

Family Investments is a trading name of Family Assurance Friendly Society Limited ('the Society') and is a mutual organisation. This means that we are owned by, and run for the benefit of, our members.

Family Investments is committed to complying with the Combined Code on Corporate Governance as relevant to mutual insurers. In accordance with the Code we have provided on this website information on the Society, its management and other information that members may want to know. Member Relations

Family Investments believe it is important for our directors to hear members' views and opinions so they can understand the issues that affect the running of the Society. We encourage members to talk to us, and invite all members to take an active interest in the governance of the Society.

Committee of Management and Sub-Committees

Full details of the Committee of Management are available on this website, and can also be found in the annual Report & Accounts. The Committee of Management also comprises various sub-committees that apply expertise to specific areas of the Society's business. Annual General Meeting

Each year the Society holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM). We encourage members to attend in person, or vote by proxy if they are unable to attend. Before each AGM we will send out a Notice of AGM to all members that are eligible to vote, and also put the Notice on this website so all members have access to it.

After the AGM has been held, the results will be published on this website. Information about voting rights and how voting takes place is available by clicking on the AGM link.


Report & Accounts

The Report & Accounts will be available to members prior to the AGM. You can print or view the latest copy by clicking on the link. Alternatively the Notice of AGM will advise you on how to obtain printed copies of the Report & Accounts.
